Acts: 10:38

(NKJV) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil;

³⁸ “Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power. He did wonderful things for others and divinely healed all who were under the tyranny of the devil,^[a] for God had anointed him. (TPT)

Then Jesus arrived from Nazareth, anointed by God with the Holy Spirit, ready for action. He went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the Devil. He was able to do all this because God was with him. (MSG)

KNOW THIS! GOD WITH US!!!

1. What does this mean? God with us! – Examples:

• You get put into your “personal” Eden: Genesis 2:8 ⁸ The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.

• You get to know God and walk with Him: Genesis 3:8 Genesis 5:22-24 ²² After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. ²³ So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. ²⁴ And Enoch walked with God; and he wasnot, for God took him. Genesis 6:8-9 ⁸ But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.⁹ This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, [a]perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.

• God will establish His covenant with you! this will always be in line with the covenant He made between Himself and mankind (Gen. 1:28). Genesis 6:18: ¹⁸ But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you. Genesis 9:1-4, 7-17 9 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. 3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. 4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. 

7 And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth And multiply in it.” 8 Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying: 9 “And as for Me, behold, I establish My covenant with you and with your [a]descendants after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you: the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, every beast of the earth. 11 Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

12 And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14 It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; 15 and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” 17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”

• You mature in getting to know God. He will prepare you and through you reach the next generations: Abram -> Abraham Genesis 12:1-3 Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country,
From your family
And from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you.
² I will make you a great nation;
I will bless you
And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing.
³ I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

• God prospers you, takes care of you! God will instruct you where to dwell, sow and grow! Genesis 8:22 He brings the harvest! God’s kingdom is run by the law of sowing and reaping (not buying and selling, that is satans system! Eziekel 28:16) God wants to take care of us, we are His children / creation and He has always wanted us to rely on HIM ONLY! Through the ages, from when time began we see that God’s plan / perfect will is for us to rely on Him for everything! He is the great Provider, He supplies all our needs! Genesis 13:1-6 Abraham was very rich in cattle, …. ⁶ Now the land was not able to ^[b]support them, that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together. Genesis 26:12-13 There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar. ² Then the Lordappeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. ³ Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. ⁴ And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; ⁵ because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”¹² Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. ¹³ The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous. Exodus 12:33-36, 15:14 God brings Israel out with great riches.

• He will begin to teach you and let you know what is wright / wrong, so you get to know Him better and what His ways are. Exodus 19-20 here we read the Law that God gave, Exodus 33:34 ¹² Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ ¹³ Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation isYour people.”¹⁴ And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Exodus 33:18-19 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” (another level!)

¹⁹ Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

• Then from Moses -> the prophets -> New Testament!

• And then He came Himself through His Son! We read this in The Gospels Matthew, Luke, Mark & John!

• Jesus doing miracles

• Jesus condemning evil & naming them: Brood of vipers! Matthew 3:7, 12:34 & 23:33

• Jesus saves women who was got in adultery John 8:10

• Jesus makes the Father and His will to be known John 6:43-46 ⁴³ Jesus therefore answered and said to them, ^[h]“Do not murmur among yourselves.⁴⁴ No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. ⁴⁵ It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who ^[i]has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. ⁴⁶ Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. John 6:37-40 ³⁷ All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will ^[f]by no means cast out. ³⁸ For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. ³⁹ This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. ⁴⁰ And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

• Jesus teaching us / being an example to prepare us to take over / continue from Him after He has gone back to Heaven. John 10:28-38 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.” 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?” 33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.” 34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’? 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? 37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” John 14-16

• God brings us back to the Beginning! Revelation 21: Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. ² Then I, ^[a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God
